This is what I came up with!!
I started with a black background that I had used for another child's photos. I didn't have anything that resembled the cute green that Anne used. I also went to Williams Orchard to get this great pumpkin. It was the first trip I've been on with just me and the baby! It was a success! We also went to the Sonic and we may go back today! :)
Then my handy-dandy assistant (my baby daddy) was supposed to gently place the uber-cooperative baby on the pumpkin so that I could quickly snap the photo. The baby didn't like the cool feeling of the pumpkin and the assistant said we were torturing the model. We had to stop for the day. So.... this is what we got.
Thank goodness Sweet Pea stepped in to save the day. :)

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I actually just got back from Andalusia yesterday because Matt's grandmother passed away last Friday night. So sad!
That is soo funny and CUTE!! Maybe you'll be able to capture that Anne Gedde shot afterall!! I am in love with photography myself and just wish I could do shots like that!!! Where did you get your black backdrop from?

Miss your smiling face everyday at school! I know you are loving your time at home and you should! I love your ideas for pictures and I am sure you will get it at some point. She is adorable!
