"Paw-Paw"-razzi

This picture cracks me up every time I see it. It is of my daddy and momma on the day we brought Audrey home from the hospital. Daddy was Audrey's first encounter with a papparazzo. :)

I had to go to the doctor for a routine check-up Thursday so Mrs. Watts came up Wednesday night and kept Audrey for us. She had been to Destin last weekend and did she ever go shopping!! She brought back the cutest little fall outfits for Audrey! Her friend, Diane, also has a granddaughter so the two of them shopped and shopped for their grandbabies. Here are some photos of some of the outfits she brought. These are the ones that are not size 0-3 months. All of those are waiting to be washed so she can wear them. This is a hat with a huge red flower on it. Look for photos of her in it soon! With Audrey's abundance of hair we have been dying to find a hairbow that will stay in it. Lesa found these great bows that have velcro as the fasteners. They are so CUTE in her hair!! Here is a shot of one of the velcro bows. Mrs. Watts found this bow on her shopping trip. It is a "No Slippy Hair Clippy". The actual barrette is covered in velvet. These two bows have been the only ones that we have found that will stay in Audrey's hair even though she has so much! Since we got the okay from the pedi at the last doctor's appointment, we went home so Audrey could meet her cousins this past weekend. It was a quick trip down there but it was nice to be able to see everyone. I did a lot of relaxing and Clay was able to go dove hunting with daddy. We loved it! Since this post is already so long, I just made a slide show of the photos.

Those outfits are adorable, Christi. And, the bow in her hair is just tooooo cute!!

I know that you were glad to be able to visit your family. Next time your are in Andy, give me a call! I would love to see you and baby Audrey.

John Parker was born with the same amount of hair as Audrey and the nurses were begging me to put a bow in his hair...of course, I refused. I often wonder if they tried it behind my back in the nursery. Sawyer wasn't born with the head full of hair as his brother. :) BUT, I can tell that he is getting more on his little head. He has plenty in the back, but just not on top.

Oh my goodness! You're so lucky because you can already stick bows in that beautiful hair!!! I can't wait until I can put one in Addison's. I think it'll be a while! We have the same brown and pink carter's outfit!!! Isn't it fun buying for little girls???? It's certainly my weakness!!!! She's beautiful, Christy!!!!!

All of the outfits are cute, but the polka dot one is my favorite! Katherine didn't have hardly any hair when she was born. The nurses in the NICU pasted a bow in her "hair". It was hilarious! We found some bows in one of the high end baby stores in the mall that have the smallest alligator clip you ever saw. They stayed in Katherine's hair (or lack thereof):)

Those are some sweet outfits! That is one thing about having a boy...not too many different things as far as clothes go to choose from! If I had a girl, I would be flat BROKE!!!!!!!!! No Doubt!

I'm glad you were able to visit with your family. Next time you come maybe we can all get together if you have time!
