You can't catch me, I'm the..

Audrey's favorite book right now is The Gingerbread Man by Jim Aylesworth. The book has wonderful illustrations and lots of rhyming and patterns. Right up her alley! We read it over and over and OVER!

Since the Gingerbread Man is actually a cookie and does get eaten in the end, I really stress to her as we are reading it that we want him to be caught and that he shouldn't have run away!

That's chocolate all over her face. It was a "potty prize"! :)

Another one of her favorite activities is cooking with me in the kitchen! She loves to "help" me and will get highly offended if she finds out I've baked something without her! Naturally, we HAD to make Gingerbread Men!

It was so much fun to watch her watching the oven to make sure her "man" didn't try to run away from her! She told me where to stand in case he did and to make sure I caught him! It was FUN! She is a very animated little girl and her expressions are quite hilarious. As we were waiting for the cookies to bake, the anticipation was just about to kill her! It was well worth the mess and time it took to make them with her!
