Everyday after nap, Audrey and I eat a snack together. Today, Shelby Claire was feeling a little out of sorts and fussy during our snack time. I tried three or four different things to help soothe her but nothing was working. I turned to Audrey and said, "What's wrong with sister? What do you think I should do?". She replied, "Give her a paci and a rock, rock, Mommy!". Then she WINKED at me! Oh, yes, a real wink!!
I did give Shelby Claire a paci and a "rock, rock" and Audrey was right-- it did the trick!
