Francie's First Easter

The Easter Bunny came to visit my sweet girls and even brought Francie something special for her first Easter.

Audrey is thrilled with her chocolate!!

Clay took the girls to church while I stayed home with little miss Francie. She will get to go next year!

Out of the last 5 Easters we have gone as a family to church twice. We think. We have either had newborns or sick children that one of us had to stay home with. Next year will be the year that our family of five goes together!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for some of Audrey's school friends at our house this year. It was fun to see how different they all were this year. They were very competitive and it didn't take 5 minutes for them to find the 200+ eggs that were hidden in our yard!

It's been fun watching these precious kiddos grow up! They will all be starting Kindergarten in the fall!

Egg Hunts

The girls preschool had the cutest little egg hunts for them again this year but unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures!! I just thought it was hard to take photos when I had Shelby Claire! It's impossible to carry a baby and hold the hand of a 2 year old and take photos also. I know this is just a short season in life and I'm trying to roll with it. Needless to say, there won't nearly be as many pictures of our "events" in the next few months (years?) as there were in the past. I was able to "steal" some pictures from facebook that a couple of friends posted on there.

Shelby Claire loved her first real egg hunt. It didn't take her long to figure out that there were treats inside the eggs!! She would run to an egg and stop to open it before moving on to the next egg!

Audrey loves a good egg hunt herself but she is definitely not one of the die hard egg hunters. She is slow and steady when she hunts and that usually means she doesn't have many eggs at the end. This was this first year that it actually bothered her! A lesson I learned was that this sweet girl needs a smaller basket-- smaller baskets look fuller!

Francie was a trooper and hung out in the Ergo for the entirety of the two parties. I loved the day and look forward to seeing Francie run around for eggs one day!

Spring Break 2013

Clay took off a couple of days during the girls' spring break this year to help me out. We took off to the Botanical Gardens for a picnic during one of the days he was off. We love to go there and run wild and usually pack a picnic when we go. It's rare that Daddy gets to go with us!

I love these girls and this Daddy!! Audrey is really growing up lately. She is a good big sister to both Shelby Claire and Francie. She loves to play with Shelby Claire and give Francie a million kisses. Shelby Claire is my little helper. She will go get diapers for me and even loves to help change Francie's bottom. She gets her stool from the bathroom and will bring it over to the changing table. If I would let her, I think she could do it all by herself!
Whatever Audrey does, Shelby Claire wants to do also. And I mean WHATEVER she does. Shelby Claire thinks Audrey hung the moon!

My little helper wanted to push the baby. She calls Francie "baby" but the pronunciation does not sound anything like the word, "baby". She sorta sounds like shes speaking french when she says it. It's really cute and I need to make it a priority to get it on video. :)
This last photo is just of Francie upset in her rocker. I wanted to include at least one photo of her in this post!
