Francie's first four weeks have been a whirlwind! It seems like they just flew by! She is growing like a weed, eating really well, and sleeping like any newborn will. She typically goes about 2 hours between feedings and sleeps every minute in between. She caught a cold from her sisters at 3 1/2 weeks but it doesn't seem to phase her one bit.
Francie is my first baby to enjoy a swing. My other two girls did not care for the swing one bit. I think the trick with Francie is that a friend let me borrow her side-to-side swing. The other girls had a front to back swing.
We put Audrey in a bassinet when she was a newborn and Shelby Claire slept in the bed with us until she could sleep through the night. With Francie, I bought a CoZy sleeper and put it in the bed between Clay and I. It makes me feel better to know she's in her own "bed" but she's easy to get to when she wakes up.
Here little miss priss is lounging on the boppy. I had to put her in the pack-n-play to keep her big sisters from loving all over her all the TIME! That didn't work long because the middle monkey sister just climbs right in on top of her!
We also have this newborn sleeper that we got with Shelby Claire. This is my absolute favorite piece of "baby gear". I love, love it! It will fold, fits through doors, the covers come off so you can wash it and it keeps the baby inclined. That helps poor Francie breathe since she has this yucky cold.
The only downside is that it puts her within easy reach of the germ carriers. :)
At one month she is 10 pounds and the 70 percentile for height. Looks like she will be taking after her middle sister! :)
