She will now lay on a blanket and amuse herself for a bit. I cleaned the house Friday and she was on a blanket in the den for about 30 minutes!
Audrey can hold her rattle pretty consistently. In "teacher-talk" I would say her fine motor skills have progressed to the point where she can consistently grasp her rattle in 8 out of 10 trials. Blah. Blah. She really focuses on that rattle and tries her best to get it in her mouth. :)
The two of us went down to see my parents last week and my mom has this crib. She got it when MG was a baby and used it with Laura as well. Now it's Audrey's turn! This mobile is the best mobile ever! This was the first time Audrey paid any attention to a mobile at all. The one in her crib doesn't suit her fancy. She really likes the vivid patterns on the one momma had. She stared at that thing forever! We packed that little joy up and brought it home with us! Hee...Hee...
This was Audrey this morning showing off for her Daddy. She can sit up pretty well in this seat and she was demonstrating her new trick for Clay.
Here she is after Christmas Village Thursday. She was a sweetie-pie the entire day! We got there around 10:00 and didn't leave until 3:00 so she had a long day in her carseat. It didn't seem to bother her one bit. She slept the majority of the day!
Audrey loves to watch TV! I have to turn it off when she is in the room or she will strain her little neck around to see it. This is a shot of her in action. The TV is back behind her.
I just added these pictures to this post after Audrey's bath tonight. Clay and I have been trying and trying to get a picture of her pouty lip. This is a precursor to what is about to come. She usually does this when she is a bit upset but not quite ready to let out a full blown wail. Clay was successful tonight!!

Cute pics.. she's really growing. You'll love that little seat - Jack would sit up in that but would never lay by himself and play so it was a lifesaver for us!!
John Turner does the same little lip pout before he cries. I have been trying to get a pic of it too! I have a seat like that too. When did you first try it with Audrey? I love all of the cute pics! She is so adorable! Love her cute pajamas too!

Caroline was looking at Audrey's pictures with me and when we saw the pouty-face pictures she said "that baby sad, that mommy sad too"...see what you have to look forward to?!?!
I love ALL of her new tricks. John Parker loved seating in his baby pod chair, but Sawyer hasn't sat in it yet-which I'm sure he'd enjoy if I get it out of the closet. I also LOVE the black and white angelic picture of her and the pouty face!
Cute pictures! I'm amazed at how much Audrey and Andrew's hair looks alike. His hair looks just like hers in that last picture. After I bathe him it looks just like that. I'll have to post one of him so you can see.
I love the last pic of her with her curly hair-do! I would like that mobile also it is pretty interesting! I am going to have to get one of those bumbo chairs next go around. They look pretty helpful!
That chair looks so neat...do ya'll like it? I might have to invest in one of those. I can't believe how much hair she has! She is so beautiful! Addison is still BALD!!! LOL! It'll be a while before we can wear bows. Are you still teaching? I absolutely LOVE the pouty lip! Isn't it fun to just sit and watch the different expressions? They are SUCH little MIRACLES!!!!
I love her pouty lips I took one of Aiden like that. She has beautiful hair.
That last picture is SO precious. I actually laughed out loud when I got to it. I didn't even realize her hair was curly!! She is so precious. You seem to be having fun with her. I know you have heard this a thousand times, but treasure it! She will be walking and talking before you know it!
I love your posts, you have the cutest pics of Audrey on here!! She is growing so big!! I can't believe how she is already holding her head up to sit in that chair. Emiie holds her head up but just for a few seconds and then it plops forward!! :) She isn't quite big enough for the Boppy, but I have one ready for her when she does, the girls at work siad their kids loved them!! I love the pouty pics too!! Very cute!! We have got to get the girls together when Christmas comes around and I come home, assuming you will be coming home also!!
