Clay took off Friday and gave me the "day off" Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday. It was heavenly!! I am so missing him right now. He's a good daddy and husband and it was hard to have him go back to work on both Audrey and me! She was so disappointed to see her Momma open her bedroom door this morning and not her full-of-energy Daddy! She told me she wanted to go to work with him!! It was very tempting to load her up in the car and take her the 45 minutes to his plant!
He made my favorite birthday cake for me Friday during Audrey's nap-- "Pea Pickin'" or some people refer to it as "Mandarin Orange". It doesn't taste orangey at all. It's a sweet, yellow cake with a cool-whippy type frosting. Soo.. yummy!
Cut me some slack, I'd been awake about 15 minutes at this point!
He did a great job on the cake and the entire weekend was amazing!! Happy Birthday to me! :D
