Today we set out to explore our surroundings and just get a general feel for the area. We are very pleased with where we are and super excited about our time we will spend here. We checked out the beach, the pool, the ice cream shop, and rented a bike and trailer. I can't wait to ride my girls all over in that trailer. I did discover that I forgot to pack my tennis shoes and didn't pack nearly enough toys for Audrey. We will go shopping for them soon!
Some things I learned/remembered today:
*Lugging around my big camera isn't that fun when it is HOT. I didn't take many pictures.
*Sand mixed with water on a three year old isn't a good mix. Thankful for pinterest and the "baby powder" trick but I've yet to try it out. I am hoping it is a life saver.
*One never forgets how to ride a bike.
*Groceries always cost more at the beach.
