Beach Day Seven

Today was a busy day of... well...nothing much.

We haven't had real cable in over six years at our house. We've always just had basic (and now we don't even have that and it was completely my idea) and so anytime I go home to my parents house, I stay up way past my bedtime watching stuff like "Pawn Stars" and "International House Hunters". It is no different here at the beach. I found an extremely ridiculous show called "Dance Moms" that I can not tear my eyes off of. It appalls me to the point where I can not sleep once it is over. How can mommas really act like that?! Anyway, due to my inability to turn the T.V. off when that show is on, I am staying up way too late and I am sleeping in way too late. For anyone that is a momma you know that I mean that I am sleeping until 8:00 not noon or anything like that! Ha! That means that Clay is getting the girls ready and by the time I am ready to go to the beach, it is time for SC to nap. This morning she went to sleep around 9:00 and normally will only sleep for 30 minutes or so. Clay took Audrey on down and I waited for SC to finish resting. She slept until 10:45. I couldn't believe it. By the time I got her ready, got all our gear down to the beach, got myself and her settled in, Audrey was ready to go back to the pool. By noon I was back in the kitchen fixing her lunch. It was a busy morning, I tell ya!

The highlight of the day was that Too Too and Grandaddy came down and are staying for awhile. Audrey has been so excited to see them that she keeps telling me all her plans for them, "Too Too's going to watch me swim, Grandaddy's going to play in the sand with me, Too Too's going to go to the playground with me,etc".  I'm sure they will do every bit of everything Audrey has planned for them.

Too Too and Grandaddy took us out to eat tonight at Old Florida Fish House and it was yummy! I had grouper with crab and loved every bite I took. Audrey had a cheese pizza and didn't even take one bite. :D She did eat her fill of rolls though! Tomorrow night we will be eating chicken parmesan with garlic bread and salad here at the condo!

I'm leaving you with a picture of Audrey buried under her towel in the wagon. This was this morning after a few hours at the beach and about an hour at the pool. She was exhausted and ready for a nap. :D
